Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
Agape Worship Center of the C&MA (“the Church”) seeks to glorify God by fostering a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment in all services, programs, activities, and events. This Code of Conduct establishes expectations for all attendees, participants, volunteers, and staff to ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and that all conduct honors Jesus Christ.
2. General Expectations
By attending or participating in any activity or event hosted by the Church (on-site, off-site, or online), you agree to:

Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and Christian love.

Honor Christ in your words, actions, and attitudes.

Follow instructions and guidelines provided by Church leadership, staff, or volunteers.

Respect the facilities, property, and resources of the Church and its event partners.
3. Behavior Guidelines
The following behaviors are expected:

Respectful Communication: Speak in a way that builds others up and avoids offensive, profane, or derogatory language.

Appropriate Conduct: Engage in behavior that reflects integrity, humility, and reverence for God.

Safety: Refrain from actions that could cause harm to yourself or others.

Inclusivity: Welcome and show kindness to all, regardless of background, age, or culture.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited during Church activities and events:

Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind.

Use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or substances on Church premises or during Church-sponsored events.

Disorderly conduct, violence, or threats of violence.

Unauthorized distribution of promotional materials or solicitation.

Unauthorized recording, photographing, or broadcasting of Church events for personal or commercial use.
5. Attendance & Participation

Participation in all Church activities and events is voluntary.

Attendees assume full responsibility for their own actions and any inherent risks associated with participation.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the behavior and supervision of minors in their care.
6. Media & Privacy

The Church may photograph, record, or live-stream events for ministry purposes. By attending, you consent to the possible inclusion of your image or voice, unless you have notified leadership in advance.

Unauthorized recording, copying, or distribution of Church media is prohibited (see Terms & Conditions).
7. Enforcement & Consequences
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:

A verbal or written warning.

Removal from an event or activity without refund (if applicable).

Restriction from future participation in Church events or programs.
-
In serious cases, notification of appropriate authorities.
8. Commitment to Christ-Centered Community
We believe that all members of the body of Christ are called to live in unity and love. By choosing to attend or participate in Church activities or events, you commit to upholding these values and supporting a community where everyone can worship, learn, and fellowship in a safe and God-honoring way.
